When we believe in something we derive the satisfaction of being a believer; as opposed to being an unbeliever. This satisfaction attracts the spirit of religion; and the result is religiousness. "It is written, I believe it; that settles it" is not the way to go—according to this pattern you would then believe a murderer, rapist and children molester who craftily calls himself a man of God. Now, if you believe that the devil was behind that evil man's actions then you must really know the devil well before you can affirmatively state so. The devil will not go to the electric chair, or guillotine, but the murderer would. The devil is not on trial, but the human, or rather an inhuman being.

As I mature and look back on my childhood I realize that what I have absorbed was a mixture of true and false things and so now I sort them out. I throw away the untrue things and keep that which is true. This distinction God created when He enticed Eve to eat of the Tree of Knowledge and not first of the Tree of Life.

A simple story, fairy tale, legend, but this story is laden with meaning. I believe it and why not? But do I believe in the detail or in principle? That is the question.

Why not first the Tree of Life, but rather the Tree of Contrast of something true, false, something good and bad? Between these two sides is the choice. But this choice must be sharpened.

1. It is like a scale: on one side you have the negative, and the other the positive. If the scale does not tilt in either direction then you are the field, neutral an equal mixture of both.

2. If the negative side of the scale is heavier and dips then you are the tare; too much of the not dealt with in repentance evil. —I must add here that often to such people repentance is the remotest idea; their overinflated pride has clouded their minds beyond repentance.

3. If the positive side dips then you are the good seed. You have accumulated good deeds; and your thoughts become straighter; and therefore more righteous, clearer and you are good. And that explains our believing.

Right after my believing comes the study and a more precise examination. I begin to sort things; throwing away illusions and embracing but only the Truth.

Now we come to the point of knowing derived from study.

Believing that Satan is behind all evil actions and God is behind all good actions, and that people are being influenced by either power; strips humanity of the power of the FREE WILL and the FREE CHOICE. We have blurred our minds (cognizance and imaginations) with self-invented theologies, philosophies and beliefs. Only the lame needs crutches and the wounded a bandage, but are we crippled and wounded. We ARE GODS Jesus said, because God's word already came to us.

Jesus[John 10:34-35] Jesus answered them, “Has it not been written in your Law, ‘I SAID, YOU ARE GODS’? [35] If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), [36] do you say of Him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?

Combine it with this: [John 20:17] Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’”

Combine it with this: [Romans 8:29] For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; [Colossians 1:15] He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. So who are we, goats or just sheep, animals or the siblings of Jesus having this power:

[Deuteronomy 30:19] I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So CHOOSE life! Indeed a great responsibility and we’ve got the power. So who is behind our actions?

[Deuteronomy 32:39] ‘See now that I, I am He, And there is no god besides Me; It is I who put to death and give life. I have wounded and it is I who heal, And there is no one who can deliver from My hand. No one. We are as each individual. To think otherwise comes from self-made philosophy and religious theology; crutches and bandages.

As the Firstborn Son of God Jesus had the power over the natural forces because He said that all power (authority) has been given to Him in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18). Based on this declaration He used that power to change substances, like water into wine, and made water a solid ground He walked on, but He respected human free will. This authority and power cannot be used to violate human will and choices—this is the crux of our study. Jesus knew that very well, nor was He even able to undo the original creation.

We must examine our godhood; our free will, free choices to believe or disbelieve; and invalidate all things about God; and label it as being only a religion of one kind or another.

God respects atheists for he or she is also a god in his or her own rite. But there is also the ultimate, which we know little about.

Jesus knew the law of need upon which all laws in existence function. There must first be the need before it can be met. Knowing these laws takes fear and worry away.
